Senior Scottish nationalist warns BP it could face nationalization in case of split

A senior Scottish nationalist has warned BP that it could face punishment over voicing concern regarding the impact of breaking away from the UK.
Former Scottish Nationalist Party deputy leader Jim Sillars has warned the British oil company BP that it should learn the meaning of nationalization. Jim Sillars says BP could face nationalization as it has happened in other countries in case of a yes-vote on September 18. He says the upcoming referendum is about power and that Scotland will use that power for a day of reckoning with BP and banks threatening to transfer their headquarters to Britain. Scottish nationalists have accused Britain of going ahead with a scare campaign ahead of the vote to dissuade people from voting for a split from the UK.
