Contributors and Commentators

If you want to contribute articles to this website, then please register as a "contributor quota". If you would like to comment on any of the articles, then please register as a "commentator". We are looking for both since this website is aimed at being a facility which everyone can draw from. A place where people can find the facts about every facet of Scotland's wealth.

The name It's Scotland's Oil may only represent one aspect of our nation's wealth but, it is a memorable name and the site will become known for the specific area which it focusses on.

We are looking for specialists and activists in every field of our nation's wealth: oil and gas; renewables; energy (in general); whisky; agriculture; exports; Government statistics etc.

If you want to be a key member of this exciting new website, then please come onboard.

Additional Downloads, Images and Youtube videos

A lot of additional information, videos and images have been added recently. In addition, I have articles waiting to be fine-tuned before posting. Many of the new downloads have radical information about where we will be as a nation by 2020 and 2030. The case for independence is compelling. The likelihood is that an independent Scotland would be in surplus by 2020, which is just incredible.

The website itself has enjoyed success as a result of it's content, with nearly 30,000 hits and over 1,000 unique (different) visitors since launching (over 1,500 visitors in total), just over twelve days ago, with pages being read a total of nearly 14,000 times.

Regards,

Roddy.

Only Scottish Rallies and Marches

By roddy, 2014-12-04

Just a quick note, there are meetings and rallies in other places - London etc. but I have limited the Events page to what is happening in Scotland (unless you think that we should include other countries Ms and Rs).

Visitors to this website

By roddy, 2014-12-04

Since launching at 00.00 on the 1st December, we have had an incredible response to the website. So far, we have had close on 700 visitors. and it is set to continue, as the data, videos, images etc. continue to be built up on the website. We want to build the information on the site and we welcome any additional (relevant) contributions in all the sections.

If you know specialists in any of the areas of Scotland's wealth or, have information which you can share with our readers, then please feel free to add the articles/downloads/images/videos - we really want you to become involved.

Thank you.

Regards,

Roddy.

Renewable Energy videos

By roddy, 2014-12-04

Hi,

I have just linked a few Youtube videos on renewable energy to the website. There is so much information out there about renewables that it is hard to know where to draw the line.

As the site grows and develops, so we will try to segregate the different subjects, so that what you are looking for is easier to find. At the moment, we have brought in the most crucial ones but I see no reason in due course to not bring in as many videos, newspaper articles (Downloads), images etc. into the site as possible.

Regards,

Roddy.

I have just linked some more Youtube videos, primarily about the area of the North Sea which was stolen a month before the new Scottish Parliament sat for the first time. Clearly the timing was chosen at a time when all eyes would be on the new Parliament. It was not debated in the House of Commons. It was rushed through secretly. Happy viewing!

Events

By roddy, 2014-12-02

I have been searching for rallies and marches and any other events relating to independence and the YES movement. I Have posted what I found (easily). If you know of more events, then please let me know.

I have just posted two articles about Scotland's oil as collateral for Britain's debt. What is most annoying is the fact that the politicians in Westminister continue to spend money on nuclear missiles, foreign military engagements etc. when actually, they need to be cutting back.
